It is not rocket science to take care of a young monkey, but it does involve a significant investment of time, patience, and dedication. I will give my best effort to explain what it was like for me to take care of a newborn monkey.\n\n\n\nDIAPERING\n\n\n\nI didn't waste any time getting the pet monkey baby started in diapers the day I brought him home. I had to use my imagination since he was so little. I went to the store and purchased some of those little baby towels that are around 5 inches by 5 inches, and then I cut a panty liner in half. After folding the little towel toward the center on both the right and left sides, I placed the liner in the center of the towel. After that, I would slip it under him, unfold the two top flaps under him, and then unfold the bottom corner flaps beneath him. After that, I would use a bobby pin to secure everything by connecting all four of the flaps on his back to one another. (for a clearer understanding, refer to the images that follow. I am aware that it may seem to be a little puzzling.) When I changed the monkey's diaper, he was constantly sitting on his teddy. I refrained from grabbing his in order to avoid causing undue anxiety for him.\n\n\n\nFirst, get a tiny towel designed for babies. The second step is to fold one of the sides towards the center, followed by the other side.Step 3: Position one-half of the panty liner, with the adhesive side facing down, in the center of the folded towel.Step 4: Bring together the two tabs that are under the monkey and around the back, and then fold the two tabs that are over so that the tail is in the center of the tabs that fold over.Step 5: Attach all of the tabs together using pins.\n\n\n\nWhen he was around a month and a half old, I started using diapers designed for premature infants. These are a lot simpler to do. I simply make a hole in the front of the diaper for his tail to go through, keep his legs still as I slide the diaper under them, then I remove the tape from the tabs and wrap them over his back. (It's important to keep in mind that the diapers on monkeys are put on backward so that they can't remove them.)\n\n\n\nPet monkey babies are friendly, clean, like being around people, and can make for wonderful companions; nevertheless, owning one requires a substantial dedication around the clock. They cannot be left alone for an extended period of time, must be exposed to sunshine, must adhere to certain nutritional needs, and want a great deal of stimulation. They are sociable creatures that demand interaction with their owners most of the time; thus, it is imperative that you fully comprehend the amount of commitment that is expected from you.\n\n\n\nIf you are able to give these little boys the time and attention they need, you will be rewarded with a beautiful, playful, and loving companion.
